Well it's been quite an eventful summer, not only is it our first summer as a married couple but Bob has been quite busy working on getting volunteer experience both to prepare for grad school as well as have good life experience. Bob has volunteered this summer at a nonprofit agency in town called Bridgerland Literacy. The goal of this agency is to help people in the community increase their literacy in reading, math, and other areas that will help them do well in both their academic and personal lives. Bob initially started as an assessor, testing students' progress during their time at Bridgerland. Bob eventually volunteered his services at Bridgerland's summer reading club, which was for children in the community ages 5-12. The theme of the club was the ocean, and each week had an ocean related topic, like sea animals or pirates. Different age groups had different names, and Bob was one of the group leaders for the 9 year old group, the palm trees. It was a very fun experience, and the kids in the group were awesome!
You are such a great guy.
